You'll only need to cut fronts, 36's fit fine in the rear opening...even with the tire stuffed.
Front, remove the front fang. An inch or so below the core support works just fine.
Rear of the front fender, start by removing the plastic splash shield that connects the inner fender to the body mount. Unbolt the lower one or two bolts between the inner and outer fender. Trim the inner fender up to where it sits almost flush with the firewall. there is a bolt with a really big washer that you'll see. From the outside working in i cut straight across higher than that bolt, then angle down and continue across cutting under that bolt. Be careful, the E-brake cable runs right behind the inner and it's really easy to accidentally cut your E-brake cable if you're using a cut-off wheel on a grinder.
Outer fender, measure about 6" from the door edge at the bottom of the fender. Make a mark of some sort. Grab some masking tape and run it up at an angle to the upper area wheel opening. I prefer a nice smooth transition. use a thin cut-off wheel for the outer cutting, and if you don't cut too deep it's easier to cut accurately along your tape line. I generally mount up a flap disc after the cutting is done to remove and burrs, blend imperfections and generally make it not sharp anywhere. A bit of primer or paint on the edges and you're pretty much done.
