Hey all,

I have a 78 Bonanza Blazer with the original seats. For a 78 they only have one small hole in the driver seat but they are guaranteed to kill your back on a long ride.

So I need to upgrade the seating arrangements. Going to a later model Blazer won't work unless I found some that has been recovered as they are all old now. Would like to get some F*rd King Ranch seats but the wife I'm sure is not willing to work the streets for a year to pay for them.

So, what have you had success with out of newer models? Don't want something that looks like crap. Needs to fit correctly and be comfortable.

Yea, uh, searched the wrong section - found the info in tech. When I searched I chose "Search this forum"...

Thank you. I just need to find some decent seats now at a decent price - I don't want much.

Was looking at the King Ranch seats and found a set for 1500. I'd get them but that money is going to my 70 RS Camaro. Gotta get it back on its feet.

Whatever you do, don't pitch those seats. There's nuts out there like myself that pay good money for those.

If you get the tracks from an '86-later, you can bolt numerous style GM buckets right to them. Including '93-'02 Camaro/Firebird seats which most people find to be comfy.

I have seats from a 02 Silverado 3500 in my 85. These are out of a work truck, so it is that really durable cloth material. Both sides bolted to the factory holes in the front. I had to drill/nut and bolt one rear hole in the drivers side and both rear holes on the passenger side. But no shimming and the height is great. I would assumw that any 99(new style) to 06 silverado seats would be an almost bolt in.
