need some answers on side window seals

been searching but i only find vauge answers some say yes some say no.... well what i did was make my 86 into a full vert and i need to move my topper glass over to the 75 top... some say my seals will not work... if so why not? is it an easy fix? or do i need to buy 75 specific seals and still be able to use my glass?

local body guy put windows from an 85 into my 74 top, reused the 74 seals, he said the newer ones wouldnt fit, dunno why though. just what he told me.

yep the seals don't work from the newer one have to use the older seals I have tried it both ways somewhere in there I think the top glass got thinner too cause the glass I have in mine is from an 89 and although it doesn't rattle or anything it just doesn't seem as tight as the other side

I believe LMC has the seals

i called toaday and the local tint shop said they would remove the age old ****ty tint from the old 75 glass and retint it for 90 bucks so i aint even gonna remove the glass thanks fellas!
