need some axle help

I have 90 K 5 blazer and just went and just lifted 6" and put 4.56 gears with lockers or so I thought. After talking to the "man" to order the parts he told me that I had 28 spline axles and set me up with front and rear the lockers for them. Have the parts and pulled down the axles and found 30 spline axles not only in the front but the rear as well. Finally a question! Is this the norm or not so much? If not the norm are they better or worse than them? And should I expect any problems with them running 35" tires? By the way I'm in FL with some mud but just trail riddin mostly. Thanks for any help

All 10 bolt axles up until 1988 were 28 spline, starting in 1989 they went to 30 spline. It is rumored that the 30 spline carriers are weaker than the 28 spline stuff. You will need to either return the 28 spline lockers and get 30 spline lockers instead or change to the more common (easier to find replacements when needed) 28 spline axles.

Thanks they are for sure 10 bolt and the rear locker is and/or will be a detroit. I guess the front will be hummm. Don't realy know what's out there for the 30 spline front. Any suggestions? How about the Lockrite?
