I am wanting to make my burb into a 4x4 but is is only a 2x4. I was thinking
it would be easyer to get a 4x4 frame and swap everything onto it. I have
another motor that I am wanting to use a tbi350 and I am looking to get a
nv4500.
I would want to swap my body(unless I found a frame and body cheap enough
Then swap my rear alxe. My burb is a dully so that is why I want to swap my
body and rear axle into the new frame.

Do you think this is the easy way to do this or would it be easyer to build/swap
the 4x4 parts onto my frame. I have looked at them and none of the hole for the
4x4 mounting points are drilled out or anything.

Thanks for yout help.
Also anyone know a good place to get a burb 4x4 frame??? I need one
Anyone got a nv4500 laying around they do not want /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

thnaks for the help

Too bad you're not closer. I've got a frame from a 91 suburban sitting at my house.

The 2wd frames are made different on the front end. A front axle can be mounted on a 2wd frame, but it will take some fabrication to make it work. How much, I dont know.

I'm going to be tearing apart an '85 Sub this weekend. I will be junking the body and keeping the frame unless you are interested in it. Axles and everything else may be sold however.
