Over time ive sunk some $$$ into my d44. Got some deals along the way bought some stuff new, blah blah blah. Now I need to part it out and get it out of my life. I would like some help pricing stuff to move but not clut my wrists in the process. Here is what I have

Flat tops with studs
Wfo tall pass side arm
488 thick gears
welded carrier
8 lug hubs/ backing plates (no rotors)
factory drive flanges
axle shafts (twisted outer splines)
welded carrier
solid cover
housing
1 warn premo hub (broke the other)
Thanks guys.

So I sold the flat top knuckles with the WFO high arm, and tie rod for 100 and through in 2 sets of axle shafts.

8lug hubs backing plates etc for 40

I tried to sell as a whole but it wasn't complete so no one wanted it.

You could have done better, the passenger knuckle alone was worth $100.

The gears $75 give or take depending on con condition.
Flanges $50 all cleaned up
Thick aftermarket(?) Cover $50
All good items to sell on eBay.

Carrier, scrap it, anyone can weld their own.
Housing, scrap it.
Damaged(?) Axles shafts, scrap - if good $50 each

Other than the flattops you're missing anything of any substantial value.

No locker, no aftermarket shafts or u joints....

The biggest problem I see with selling used d44 stuff is that usually the people that run them do because they don't want to spend the money on a d60 which means they probably don't want to spend much on their 44 either.

Heres how I would price stuff, because this is about what I would pay for it(hope Im not insulting):

Used knuckle with arm-$100
Used gears $50
8-lug hubs/ backing plates $50
cover-$50
If I needed the inner axles I might pay $25 each

Everything else I know that I can go get today for free so its hard to put a price on it but I know some scout guys that like to take chevy d44 housings and cut them down to scout length and use all the scout parts (scout 44s had paper thin tubes)

Its possible someone without a welder might pay $10-20 for the carrier

Drive flanges might make a few $, possibly on ebay like mentioned.

If left together I could see selling the whole setup for $250-300.

What he said.

All depends how much time you want to devote to take it apart, list it on ebay, or local sites. I've been seeing complete 44's with cross over and high steer go for about 200 in my area. I couldn't get mine to sell so I parted it out and gave ck5ers a good deal. Hell it wasn't doing me any good sitting inside my barn taking up space.
