I just bought a 89 k5. I am looking to replace the grille and headlight assembly. It has a home made diamond plate assembly with only one headlight per side. I was wondering if this is just homemade or if this year also came witha single headlight option vise the smaller double headlights?

IIRC 82-88 had the dual headlight assembly (one on top of the other). Your sounds like acustom install. Make sure all the wiring is there before you remove it.
That would be a Scottsdale package.
