this weekend i need to rewire the starting system in my k10/30/whatever.... so i need to know what wires come from where and go to where, dealing in reference to that little junction block on the firewall...

also, when wiring the electric fans and wiring to the relay, where do you wire which wires to on the relay?

Now that's some weird stuff right there. I didn't see this post for some reason and asked the same question earlier today. I'll let you know if I find one and please do the same. :)

deal, i may end up making my own wiring harness for it and add a push button... we shall see...

That's precisely what I plan to do down the road. I swapped out my TBI in favor of a carb and want to use my stock guages, switches and such for now. Eventually I want pushbutton start and a full toggle panel for all electronic functions in the truck.

I have 2 wiring diagrams for an 86 k5 saved on my computer but they are pdfs so I cant post em up. If you PM me you email addy I can email em to ya.

You should just put a Starter solenoid next to your Battery and run the ignition and starter/battery wires to it, then the starter. It makes tuneups and distributor/engine work easy too.
