need some info on a 1973 international pickup

I found a 73 international pickup in as junkyard. What klind of axles does it have??? My buddy says they are D44's. ANyone know for sure?? If they are Im gonna go pull then tomorrow.

Is it a half ton or 3/4 ton. If its a half ton, it will have a Dana 44 front and rear. If it's a 3/4 ton, it will have a Dana 44 front and a Dana 60 rear. I have a '73 3/4 ton 4x4 and had a 1/2 ton parts truck.

Yeah but if its a 3/4 ton it may have a divorced NP205, I'm getting one.

Both of mine have a divorced 205.

IHC used alot of different axles and even made some of their own. Best thing might be to ask around on www.binderbulletin.org or www.oldihc.org and get some info over there. The dana axles were up front but the rear axles were picked by whoever ordered the truck (Dana, IHC, Rockwell and some others were options).
