Need some serious electrical help with the new truck...

Something I thought of today. I know it sounds stupid, but I have done it more than once.
Double check and make really sure that the label you are looking at is for the fuse you think it is.
If you are reading the names stamped on the fuse block, its real easy to think the name pertains to the wrong fuse.
That brake light fuse should be hot if you have brake lights.

The blower motor should not get power until the ignition switch is either set to "on", or "Accessory".
If you put power to the brake light fuse, and the blower and speedometer work, then you are probably bypassing the ignition switch.
Which the brake light fuse should not be involved with.

Plus, the brake lights should not work if that fuse is not hot.

All of which sounds like you are looking at the wrong fuse. If you are going by the cover, make sure its the right cover for that year truck.

We really need a schematic for that thing. Let me look around some more........

We're talking about two circuits here. Brake circuit which is powering the speedo then we've got the front HVAC fuse which is powering the blower. I'm sure I'm reading it correctly since its right on the panel and I did double check.

I have wiring diagrams but nothing that shows wiring before the fuse panel.

Found someone who had the same issue as me. Same exact fuses dead. Turned out to be a bad leg in the ignition switch... Might as well give it a shot.

Well Fordum the ignition switch fixed both the blower and brake circuits and the wiper switch fixed my wipers not shutting off...

Im just glad theres no more half ass jumpers on my fuse panel anymore...
