Need some t-case advice

first off id like to say this site rocks and you guys definitely know your chit and im glad i found it. i know i havent done a formal introduction with pics of the rig yet but i dont have a camera yet. anyway, i need some advice im not really sure what to do.

i now have two turbo 350 trannies, one with a long output shaft and one that has the short, barely there output shaft, both rebuilt. the long shaft one was ordered to be used for a hot rod, but supposedly they sent him a 4wd tranny instead of a 2wd. the tranny with the short shaft came out of a truck and was rebuilt with a B&M rebuilt kit with shift kit in it. the second tranny came with a NP 203 t-case that needs a chain. the blazer came with a NP 208 attached to a 700R4, but the 208 has a hairline crack that runs all the way from the bottom up and zig zags all the way up the side.

so my main question here is should i try to JB weld the chit out of the 208 and hope for the best, or try to find a NP 205 and make a doubler? also, which 350 do you guys think i should use? is there an adapter piece ill need to go from the th350 to the 208? and where would i find that? the trucks mostly used for mud and occasional spontaneous, "hey i wonder if i can climb that hill"

im probably leaving things out but just let me know im usually lurkin round here all day just reading and learning.
 
use the 4x4 th350 and find a 205 for a 350 with the adapter. easiest IMO. i would avoid the 208, i went through five of them before i got the message haha
 
5, eh? damn. ive gotten stuck before with it and it seemed decent, even after we realized there was no fluid in it lol well i was tryin to save as much money as possible as im laid off right now and my last employer is either retarded or a dick cuz they put down i quit in response to the lay off form when i filed again. so 3 weeks no check so far
