I just cut out the rear floor in the buggy to lower the fuel cell down a bit.. but now i have hit a fabrication wall..

So what to do what to do..

flat floor, angle iron sides to form it?
flat floor, cool pull out/slide out tray

any idea on a sliding drawer set up that would take the abuse?

crappy pics of what im working with

putting a lid on it soon. going to have a sunken spot on the lid for that hi-lift base. ;) just an idea to get your mind thinking...

4 KRL drawer slides, 2 per side, would be pretty stout, and smooth...

trick, but far more work than just a structural fix with psheeymetal, angle, etc...

After thinking forever i decided just to grab some metal, my grinder and just figure it out as I go. Came up with some cool ideas.

dropped the fuel tank down so I can later add a shelf behind the seats.

the amo cans will slide in a slot and then be clamped down

the tray behind the amo cans will hold my spare drivelines in pvc pipe

the tray above the driveshafts will hold my battery, cooler and open space
