Might want to add you are looking for an electronic speedometer and not a cable driven.

The speedo I sent you pics of came out of a 1990 Suburban.

H'mmmm, I was told by the dealership that '89 was the last year for cable drive, maybe it was a real early production '90. Mine is a '90 and is electric, vss is in the transfer case.

The odometer turns over at 100k, looking at the door it turns out it's an 89, so looks like its no help for you.
