Need Suburban specs.

Does anyone know of a spec sheet for the burbs. I was looking for something like the one on here for the blazers. It is a 1983 Chevrolet Suburban K10 1/2ton 4X4 w/350 4bbrl. Any help would be great. Looking at purchasing but was curious what it might have under it. I was told it has the 700r4. Main concern is the front and rear plus X-case.

i think its dremu who has several brochures online. if not, someone will chime in who knows for sure.

It should have 10 bolts front and back, np208 case and 700r4 tranny.

The brochures don't tend to have that kind of detail, as GM doesn't like to tell you about axles and such. Lots of other info, though, on http://brochures.slosh.com

As others have said, yep, 10 bolts fore and aft, NP208 ... could you even get a stick by then? Might just be TH350 autos.

In short, a decent vehicle, but not beefy powertrain by any stretch.

My 84 has a tag on the drivers side inner fender that has some general codes, the 83 should have a similar one. Not sure what year they started putting the RPO codes on the glovebox door, but it wasent 1984 so probably wont be one in the 83.
