I'm tired of my worn out factory-supplied crank-up jack that came with my K5 Blazer. I'm also tired of how much space the hi-lift jack takes up. Do you guys have any suggestions on a small (yet good quality) jack that might not take up so much space? Yes, I know AutoZone and others sell cheap junk made in China, and it'll probably do the job. But I'm actually looking to spend some money and get a small/compact quality jack. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

You talkin on-road or off? The Hi-Lift is a specialty thing and I wouldn't use mine for most on-road stuff like a flat. I carry a fat bottle jack for that, though you might instead carry a regular roll-around floor jack. Though they're spendier, you can get those in aluminum, nice and light, and even ones with skid plates instead of wheels for off-road use.

Sorry, I guess I should have clarified my needs. I'm looking for an around town jack to change flats. A bottle style jack would be ideal since they don't take up too much space. I already have a high-lift and an aluminum Torin Big Red floor jack, but I don't want to haul those around all the time. I'll look into the Safe Jack bottle jack...

In my blazer I carry around a tall high lift and a 20 ton bottle jack. Factory jack was to short after the lift. 
Bottle jack and two or four pieces of 2x4 maybe a foot or so long. Stack 'em in one or two layers as stabilizers or to raise the jack. If you use 4x4 instead, they can also serve as wheel chocks. Heck, they're further handy to beat the starter solenoid when it fails to bang it loose long enough to get you to the parts house, all kinds of uses really

I carry a crank up scissor jack and a chunk of 6x6, easy to store and the wood block comes in handy for all kinds of things

I meant as a trailer tongue stand, wheel chock etc. How you use your 6x6 block in the privacy of your own home between consenting adults is entirely up to you
