Eh, you do what you gotta do when the need arises.

However for regular use in the garage I’d like something more permanent and less meme.

Now you just need some taller stands! I love my 6 and 12 ton ones, so high without raising up

The old Craftsman 3 and 3.5 ton stands work pretty well so far. They have the reach for it now.

Put some 35’s on it and we’ll see.

They reach, but extended. The larger capacity ones are just able to work lower and therefore more stable.

Fair enough. I think taller stands are a possibility in the future. Just haven’t needed any since Big Ugly left in ‘10.
