i am at the point where i need to think about replacing the rubber break lines on my rig, seeing that they are now 23 Yrs.old:D I am thinking of using steel break lines instead of the rubber ones, does anyone know who sells them? i am going to do all 3 the 2 front and the little one in the back above the diff. or should i just go with rubber replacements? any thoughts/suggestions? the truck is NOT lifted and has stock tires, may at some point go to 32's in the spring. Thanks

go with stainless steel braided...order and say you have a 2" lift incase you ever lift it one day..

Buy them for a 6" lift and zip tie the extra to something solid. That way you've got MORE than enough even if you put a 4" lift on it one day.

I happen to know that the ProComp lines are actually Earl's.

Oh yeah, something I forgot, but many folks have found out that the aftermarket lines are shorter than they need to be. Seems like a lot of the brake line companies just add 4", 6", 2", 8", 12", etc to the standard lengths and never bother to figure out how much longer a line should be with some nice flexy aftermarket springs. SO BUY LONG!

Years ago someone on here had some trick ass retractable setup. Can't remember the details though.

got onto Summitracing.com and look up Skyjacker braided stainless lines. Decent price and excelent quality. I run the ones for a 6-8" lift and i have a 4" lift and have no plans of ever going bigger. The lines are about perfect length for my setup, so I recomend going for the 2-4" lines even though you're stock.

I got a set, new in the package, right here in the Classifieds section:D:D:D

Edited to Add:

I bought a set, I don't have any for sale. Sorry

Thanks for the input, i will go a bit longer, no need in having to do it twice:D

Parker Hyd shops can make brake lines and colored brake lines at that. Any length, custom lines made right in front of you.
