Hmmm..I assume its a chevy truck, and an '82 with a 6.2,seeing this was posted in the GM diesel section??............................................................I have an 82 GMC with a 6.2....doesn't have many vacuum hoses on it--one goes from the vacuum pump to a VRV (vacuum regulator valve) on the injector pump, which regulates the vacuum going to the TH400 vacuum modulator...it used to have a EGR valve and an EPR (exhaust pressure regulator) valve (which is in the drivers sive exhaust pipe at the manifold and is a lot like a heat riser butterfly used on gas engines) ,that were run by vacuum and the hoses went to a solenoid that distrubuted the vacuum to them at the proper times...other than that,on my truck,I dont think there is any other vacuum hoses--if yours has air conditiong,it'll have some going into the firewall to the heater controls,to open and close the defroster and dash vents, and the "heat" outlet on the floor, that are operated by vacuum cans..
