neglected 14 bolt and dana 44

My stock 10 bolt rear locked up on me the other day, so I was able to get ahold of a set of 3/4ton axles for practicly nothing. They have been sitting in a field forever so I am going to go thru 'em carefully.

I haven't unloaded them yet but I know some items are going to be a must like calipers, rotors, shoes and drums. I plan to repack the front bearings and inspect the diff oil. What about the 14 bolt? What else should I be looking to replace?

I would just flat replace all wheel seals and wheel bearings... who knows how many miles are on the current ones, better to replace it now before you install it into truck, comes out to about $100-$120 per axle depending on where you get your parts.

May also want to check front balljoints, ujoints, and axle seals

Give the gears a good check too, more $$ if you have to mess with em, hopefully everything will be ok to go.
