Awww crap!! It's hard to make these out of cardboard! Anyway came up with an idea now, but still gotta figure out the details.

ha ha, first run.

so second try is a little better, the step is 6" wide and 6'5" long, it is hanging down bout 3"

think I like it for now, gonna throw it around in my head what I learned from the cardboard and will be able to come up with some thing very strong and functional.

make sure you tie them into the frame.

Here are mine. 2x3 under the rocker and step bars are all 2x2. All .250 wall. Mine sandwich the body ribs front and rear, but I did add a piece of 2x2 straight back to the frame as the holes through the rib started getting wallowed. I set the full weight of my rig on these regulary too though

This is what I came up with. They bolt to the frame at 3 points with 2 inch tubing.

Yeah I'll try and get that for ya. Just runs from the center straight to the frame 2x2 tubing.

I have one, but I know right. Been wheeling the past few weekends so no sense in washing it in between trips!

Although it may seem like a "no brainer" as far as mounting, everyone has different approaches to the same problem and I like to see as many of them as I can so I can come up with "what seems best to me" when I tackle the job.

Is it just me or is your springpak a little off inthis pic?
Looks like the leafs are about 3/4" inboard of the spring eye.

My leafs fan out a little bit, but they don't move any farther than that. Good eye
