Hears the project wheeler i have picked up from a buddy. its a "old school" built truck compared to most wheelers these days.
specs now:
355 tbi on propane, 4 speed,205,203 doubler, 1 tons welded front and rear, cross over steering, big ugly cage, huge front bumper, sagged 4 inch springs with a home brewed shackle flip out back, all 4 shackles bent 40 inch pitbulls on bead locks. not much more to it very simple heavy truck.

short term plans:
52s up front
bend cross over to clear frame(maybe full high steer)hydo later
finish cab part of cage (X in roof and bar down the windshield)
cut off the heavy bumper make something tight.
rebuild bottom end of the motor (told it looses oil pressure when it gets hot)
new body.
rebuild the cross member, the 205 hanges off the back and tends to back off all the time so i gotta somehow make it so its supported to :dunno:

thats it for now.. gonna be a slow build also attending college and may be moving.
thanks for any input i get!

SOOO QUESTION...
who here has dealt with duel tcases??? seems like lots creeks and clunks outta mine.. first time using the.. 4:1 with 4:10s is LOOOOW:woot:
Anyways anyone else had this problem? Sounds like crushing bearings, but this is the first time ever using the tcases cause the PO never had the sticks to shift them..
the adapter is NWF and they actually built these cases

Home made shifters.

You should be in Neutral when shifting either of the cases.

Well ya.. I'm talking when there under load it creeks

Gotcha well I thought you were talking about just pulling the levers and hearing a noise. 4:1 When I get up in the rpms I hear the whine of the 203 but thats about it.

No I know they grind if you don't have it in neutral. Also a problem I think is the solid mounted cases and rubber mounted motor..

so took it in the back yard finally. have a problem with the 203 jumping out of gear like they always have done. so gotta figure that out and another way to mount the cases properly. Also on the last hill climb right at the top it ran out of propane. So it sat there for a few hours till i got propane for it.

You can easily mod the detent spring of the 203 by adding a ground down nut as a spacer. Works really well.
