Also burnt up the power steering so shes goin full hydro right away!

thinking of going half doors, either weld them shut and make snap in plastic Windows and cage the doors in so they dont get killed. Or cage them in but make it so the cage opens, door opens and u could change the doors if you wanted to. what do u guys think?

been busy doin a cab swap on the tow rig... no more rust

Springs from an "old chevy" probably wasn't the best choice. Grab a set of 52s from a k5. Avoid heavily rusted ones. I always look for the ones that appeare to of had an easy life (if that makes sense).
Keep up the good work :waytogo:

ford springs are a no no In my book, wide and weak? At least the set I got lol. Gonna do 52s or link it see what happens first but I'm gonna build another set for the front for now

cool rig, how long do you think those west coast mirrors will last?

well took it out, starter **** the bed right away, so had to get pull started all the time, gets death wobble like no other, probably the 40s with no air in them. trans tunnel needs to be built, front springs and install some front shocks, rear shocks have to be changed cause there not doing anything.

Got the rear shackles done... figured out that the fab shop that built the rear shackle flip made both of them around 1.5 inches to wide and thats the reason for the Bending shackles :shaking: So hope mine last a little while till i can either build a new shackle flip or just say the hell with it and link it..

Had a big problem with the 205 loosening off the back of the NWF doubler adapter. So quickly put this together hope it works. Don't mind the messy welds it was really tight. Probably going to cut it in half then make it so i can unbolt that mount from the cross member

Next question. The shocks where they sit i think there useless. Where would be the best way to mount them? ATM im limited for space because the propane tanks but plans are put them where the tool box is and remove the tool box. Maybe mount the shocks off the top of the leaf spring U bolt plate?
