the finished product.. rear springs are binding i think because the rear shackle flip is to wide.... :shaking:

what about this?? chuck the tool box, put the tanks where the box is and make a tool box where the tanks are now. and just go straight down.

i would cut that corner off where the tool box sat and im going to stand the propane tanks up behind the cab and where the tanks are now are going to be the tool box.
 
Looks a lot better with that funky cage cut off the rear.

anyone see any bad ideas here other then having 3 bombs strapped to your back, have them standing up. gives me lots of room.

cut some more pipe off and added some to. Looks naked in between the down tubes and shock mounts tho. :laughing:

Now just time to mount the propane tanks and finish up some odds and ends. Then onto the 52s

Well hit -15 now around -25 and the propane dident like it, froze up right away. after a hour got it all figured out and went for a burn.

Well got around to dropping the trans and cases out (legit dropped them..)
Got the trans off and its 10 spline :\ still learning on what trans\cases have what splines.
So my input for the 203 is 10 spline and the turbo 400 i can get is 32 spline obviously. there any adapters or what shall i need to convert it?? im still searching just thought id ask on here also.

Yeah, I could have told you that that was a 10 spline combo. That is a rare and desirable set up you have,

Yes, SM465/NP203 combos were only available in 1974 and 1975 in V8 equipped trucks.

unless someone put this one together? it is a pieced together set up. i just dident think it was going to be 10 spline :doah:
 
That is part of what makes it so desirable, it is very short.

I would find another 203. Should be pretty cheap, then just swap the billet intermediate shaft in the doubler to the new 32 spline 203 reduction box.

i actually just found a203\turbo 400 set up but the guy wants 500 bucks!! cheaper to buy just the pieces i need
