Tearing into the cases, start of the rebuild. Ever since i got the truck they have been extremely loud and not pleasant sounding. Converting to a turbo 400..
Got a killer deal on a dual propane mixer kit, turbo400 and 208 tcase, going to be running 2 425 propane mixers. Trading it for my clutch pedal.

guess u should start ordering parts :shaking:

I would also like to tear into the motor a bit was told it looses oil pressure but never happened to me. Most likely re cam it (not sure what to yet), and toss some new seals at it, Rev limiter box, duel pane mixers. See what else happens. hopefully over the winter ill try and link the front of it but i shall see how money is then.

The 2 times i ever had it out i had big problems with the 205 kicking out of gear, was not sure if the shift rails were ground proper or at all. This is my first time pulling a tcase, well 2 appart and its not to bad. hurts my brain a little thats bout it..
Anyways when i pulled the shiftrail that jumped out i found this.

And got a truck load of parts to.

Saw your post in the Facebook group. Looks like the shift rail wasn't ground right. Pick up some used rails and grind them correctly or ord sells machined shift rails.

We'll the one that I posted up is the rail you don't grind I guess, I'm still learning..but a fella said on fb to just weld up the marks and re grind them.. I just find it weird why it's riding up so high

So after slaving away for the last few weeks she moves. had to drop the trans and cases once because of a few leaks :shaking: now i got to build the floor, front driveshaft, centre console, all my shifter, bit more cage work. but good t have it out of the shop.

Got a invite for a fundraiser to get a local truck (black betty) to the top truck challenge so having my truck in a million pieces bout 4 days ahead i started slapping it together. built the foor, all my own tcase shifters, to bad when im stapped in the belts i cant reach the far shifter lol
