never seen this before

i just bought a 1986 k5 blazer an its got a little bit of a weird problem. the brake lights and reverse lights and rear turn signals dont work. when i turn the lights on the head lights an tails lights come on. but when i hit the brakes they dont get brighter. also when i hit the turn signals the front signals come on an flash but the rear lights dont. i put it in reverse an the reverse lights dont come on. im stumped

any help would be great thanks

Check to see if you have the correct bulbs installed, just a thought.

Ground wiring is bunged. Since the juice can't go from the hot to the ground, it's trying to pass through the other filament instead and weird things happen.

Check the ground wiring on the rear, make sure the wire isn't broken, and that the connectors on both ends are clean and tight.
