Looks way better than the angry chinaman look they have now. This new platform is supposed to bring GM trucks/suvs into foreign competition levels finally...

And why dont you learn to read! What he is saying that it is bring GM to the level of the foreign competition. For example, Look at Nissan those are actually halfway decent trucks and suv's that are "japanese" but built in the us. The interior and fit and finish in those trucks and suv's is far more superior than that of GM. What Earnhardt said was it was bringing GM to that level of fit and finish.
Have a wondeful day :D

Dodge is making the Powerwagon, Ford has the Hoss Edition F350 and we get this turd. yay for us. and they wonder why GM is going bankrupt.

x2. The PW is awesome, what does that Hoss Edition-thing look like ?

Honestly, this is a K5 4x4 board, most people on here are interested in heavy duty, solid axle, off road rigs. Not 2007 crappy plastic, IFS, clear tail light lenses, poser mobiles, that have a good ride, no ground clearance and get good mileage. If you really want good mileage and a smooth ride you should get a Honda Civic, the clear lenses would make more sense on it, than on a TRUCK!

I'm sure if you really want to talk about your clear tail lights, good fit and finish, and smooth ride you can head over to the cardomain site and find a bunch of other posers that are interested in the same thing.

I don't come on here and talk about my wife's 4x4 IFS Durango, because it might as well be a station wagon with a V8. So kindly find the IFS, smooth ride, clear tail lights forum and start posting over there instead of in the Garage forum.

Yeah, I'm an a$$hole. Deal with it.

You are right this is a K5 forum. That is why i belong here, cuz i have 2 that i love to death, but when someone ones to start something with me because i have an IFS truck and like it i might get a lil offensive. Why are they posers? because they all do the same thing?? Not to be an acehole, but dont alot of us here do the same mods too. I am not saying that is a bad thing, but if you look at it, it all the same. Big or small.

I disagree with the first statement. You saying that we arent interested seems to be a bit askew. Last I checked there were 43 replies and over 900 views to this thread.. Not interested?.... hmmmm.....

The last one you made is correct, however. I dont deal well with people that are self=proclaimed ***holes.

Sure, most people on this forum arent going out and buying a super luxo SUV. Some like them, some dont. But, people do buy towrigs, and this is basically the next gen chevy pickup styling, like it or not...

Christ, its just a picture or two.. let it be.

oh, and Im sorry you have a durango..

Theres one thing with you that I dont quite understand....

Why havent you supported the site with a paid membership? If you are so adamant about solid axle trucks and K5's then why dont you support the site like everybody else does?

As far as I know the Garage is fair game for a post like this buddy...Taken from the forum description "this forum is for the general discussion of almost any truck-related topic." - Im pretty sure that means a discussion on a new model Chevy coming out is allowed here.

Did I ever say I wasnt interested in solid axle heavy duty trucks? NO I had a K5 for 3 years and was starting a 1-ton conversion so I love these trucks to death. Why would I be a member here if I didnt want to discuss K5's?

Eh I could go on and on but people like you arent worth my time....

Well, foreign markets like asia have countries that don't allow a vehicle with over 230 hp... and most of em are WELL below that. If you want 15 mpg and good gas mileage and still like the old blazers why haven't you dropped a modern motor in one? What he's saying is its the people who want ifs, foreign competition, and leather interiror who basically killed the true 4x4 market. Chevy can make vehicles for foreing markets all they want i just hope they stay in the foreign markets.

You get an F for reading comprehension... I never said a word about foreign markets.....

Hoss looks like any other 250/350 super duty... it just has all the beefiest off the shelf parts ford uses on trucks. D60 front, beefy rear, V10 engine etc. It has enough suspension height to run 37s without trimming too. Apparently they made it that way so you can run the stock 35s and use chains with them. I don't think it has a winch stock like the PW does... can't remember. It was in one of the Primedia rags in the last few months. Not sure if Ford is even going to produce the thing... prolly depends on how well the PW does.
