Welcome to CK5 from the Great White North, aka, Canada!
The tie rod is part of the steering system, it is the long straight tube that connects the two front wheels together. The tie rod ends (TREs) are the joints that are threaded into the end of the tie rod. Sometimes only one side is replaceable, if that is the case, you'll have to replace the whole tie rod.
If your TREs are shot, you'll probally need to take a look at the drag link ends too. The drag link is the short bar that goes from the steering box down to the wheel on the driver's side. It has replaceable joints similar to the TREs.
After you replace the TREs and drag link ends, you'll have to take it to a shop to get an alignment done. You'll also want to get them to check on your balljoints right away too. The balljoints are the joints that the wheels turn on. They look similar to the TREs and drag link ends.
Suspension bushings for a 4x4 includes the four bushings that are pressed into the ends of the leaf springs, and through the frame where the shackle is on the rear. It is possible to replace them yourself, but I've always just taken them to a shop to have them replaced with new rubber bushings. The polyurethane bushings that you can buy aftermarket come in three peices and are far easier to install than the solid rubber ones I use.
