Yeah TBI 454 with Edelbrock intake and Comp Cam. Turbo 400 205 all stock running gear pretty much. Loaded interior new SSR's on Welds. Paint could use some work, but overall awesome pickup. I love it.:D

looks good with the baby swampers, but IF you do plan on towing your blazer or anything over about 4500lbs make sure those are the E rated SSR's... you might want to look into a second set of tires for towing. thos will eat up fast.

Yeah I plan on towing the K5 with it. I know that will be hard on the Swampers. I haven't looked at the load rating. They are 16.5's. I want to replace them with something nice, but I really really like the wheels but they are 12" wide so finding a decent street tire to fit them will prolly be hard and $$$.

I plan on maybe lowering the lift to 4" instead of 6 just for stability. There may be some axle swapping going on too sice I have a 10b in the front of the K5:doah:  Other than that I would like to change the interior color and paint it, but it works for now:D

Thanks for all the compliments:laugh:

Welcome to the club! Could you take some pictures of your trucks engine. I am planning on putting a TBI Big Block in mine, and I want to see what the accessory brackets look like on a BB.

Yeah I can get some engine pics. The brackets are wierd. I am not sure if they are stock or not. There is a serpentine setup, and two v-belts as well. My 89 350 has just a serpentine:dunno:

You can take your time. I am in no hurry. Mine is a small block with a V-belt on the P/S pump, V-belt on the A/C, and a 4-Rib belt on the Alt.

Damit , just when I think I'm going to just yank my built 454/t400 out of my 1 ton 2wd crewcab and punt the rest of the truck BOTH of you guy's post up your WHITE crewcabs (just like mine) with a lift and nice wheels/tires . I have most of the stuff to convert over to 4wd and my 84 has NO rust as it came from yuma , Az . I thought I could sell the truck minus the motor&tranny for $1000-1500 . You guy's are making this really hard for me to do  . I think you will be fine towing with a 6 inch lift . those crewcab's are pretty long and stable . I will think more aboot this delima . I bet I will regret it as soon as I do it  . here's mine :D
