new auto meter gauges

my buddy gave me his auto meter tach, and an auto meter triple gauge.

the tach im fine with, but how do i go about hooking up.

1. oil pressure.

2. voltage

3. coolant temp.

for voltage can i just hook it up to a pos and ground?

Typically that's how you take a voltage reading.

Are the other gauges electric, or mechanical?

i meant did i have to wire it straight to the battery.

Any wire with power will do.
