just picked up a 14bff and d44.just a question though,would it be better to rebuild the d44 with better shafts and all or just try to find a d60?only plan on street use and some mud with 37" or 38" tires.

Run the D44. Mod the shafts for full circle clips and install new joints, cheap and easy to do. Then you can wheel it while searching for a D60.

Just plan on using Spicer u-joints or better, no full throttle clutch dumps...
