The brackets look better than the originals.
The brackets are completely new - designed to triangulate forces across the truck frame.
I think the big difference here is this is not a copy, it is an original bumper with only a similar style of the vintage piece you are remembering.
I saw it in person last Sunday and I can tell you its beefy.
