My 83 is pretty rusty, the new neighbor is a body man and wants to put on all new (used) body panels. He says it would be best to get them from a newer Blazer that has better metal. I guess they got less rust prone on some newer models. Is this feasible and what years would be good choices. He says it's not that hard and he could do it in about a day? That sounds optimistic to me, but what do you think. Why does he want to be so nice to me anyway?
I am helping him learn how to use a computer, I guess he's happy to have a good neighbor or is one of us crazy?

maybe both of you.:D
yea a newer one would prob have less rust.
also depend's if you want your front end changed to a newer version

Wish he was my neighbor! Yes on the newer being better metal. Avoid after market at all cost thinner and cheaper.

Maybe he thinks your cute or something???????

Get another body. That much bodywork for something you can buy complete isn't worth it, unless you like projects that much.
