New Bumper and Latch

Got my new bumper on, can you see how the latch works...

the black handle is a spring loaded pin that pilots into a hole to keep the latch in place, you can see the hole on top that keep the latch open too.

I built it and designed the latch so I can open the tail gate easy...

Looks good. One "?" where do you put a pin in for the reciever hitch? Top of the bumper? I like the lack of anything sticking out, TIA.

the reciever pin loction is in the back of the bumper, you would stick the hitch in and pin it from the back just like if it was in the front...

I had to put on my welding goggles to see that rear bumper past that screaming yellow paint. Looks like your getting it back together! Think it'll ever see dirt now that its so purdy? Nice work on the latch, but we'll see how it fares when your all crossed up and flexing frame /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

it will see a lot of dirt,
latch has been tried and tested up in Big Bear with a 38" tire. Just added some shims to the body mounts to open the doors up some on the top side and started to trim the new vinyl floor kit that looks so nice.... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
