I just went to Sears today and bought myself a Husqvarna chain saw! 18" Bar, 40 cc. Now i cant wait to cut up some wood for camping!
Here it is except mine is orange:

Nice saw! I have had the 18" 52 cc model for 5 or 6 years and have had very good luck with it. I especially like the compression release feature. In our area we have a good Husky dealer. That is why I have a Husky chain saw and rider mower.

Ha yea we will see how that goes! :) My uncle is blind in one eye from a wood splitting accident, oops.

Husqavarna chainsaws are sweet just hope you have better luck than we did. We have one that the first time we used it, was the best chainsaw either myself or my Dad had ever used. And every time since then, it never wants to start. Last time I got it to start was by pulling the plug, cleaning it, shooting a little starting fluid in, then firing it up. For the amount that thing cost, its ridiculous. Of course Dad should have either taken it back or to a repair shop, but thats never happened.

Yes Sled Dog, I have a hard start problem with mine if I do not use it for a considerable time. Keeping gas preservative in it seems to help, but I sometimes have to do the same as you. Also, the dealer told me to only use 87 octane gas, as the premium blends tend to go bad faster.

I've got the 350 model with the 20" bar, I LOVE the thing...starts easy, sounds good, and has good power.

I have the 350 18" rig. I've been using it all winter. Haven't had a start problem yet, but it's been getting used 4-8 days a month. Goes through Oak like it's no big deal, rarely bogging down. I figure when I put it up for the year I'll run it 'til it's empty then box her up. That may prevent a start problem later... I dunno.
