Ok pulled it all apart, resurfaced the flywheel, put a new diaphragm clutch kit in from South Bend Clutch, new adjustable linkage, new plastic wear parts in the linkage, and new clutch linkage springs.
Ok started with the adjustable rod between 1/2 and 3/4 threaded out. Clutch wouldn't disengage enough to go in any gear while running. Went back and adjusted the linkage almost all the way out and it shifts fine, but it releases at the very top of the pedal now.
I'm not very knowledgeable about these mechanical linkages, is this normal? The last clutch didn't engage near this high it was much closer to the floor.
