Hey guys i just bought a new DD/tow rig last week. Its a 99 dodge ram 3/4 ton quad cab long bed not a diesel- just a 360 but it will work for what i need. Its loaded every option. And has aftermarket sun visior and grille inserts. Lifted 3" with 31" tires.

One of the first things i wanna do is put my cb stuff in this truck. What i wanna know is where should i mount the cb itself? i cant find a good location and i dont wanna hack anything since this is a really nice truck.

Also what brand of crossover tool box do you all like/recomend? and what about a brush/grill guard?
Ill post up pics tomorrow.

Thanks brad.

ya got to post pics!

it is a nice feeling to not have to drive a trail rig around...refreshing kind of like doublement gum..

Your Ram looks good man. I see you have the charcoal grey "black in my book" leather interior. Thats one of my favorite parts about these 2nd gen Dodges, they have the best leather seats I have ever seen in a vehicle. The leather isn't quite as "soft" as GM's, but thats because it's twice as thick, double stitched, and very durable.

That was one of the things I HAD to have in my Ram back when I was searching for my truck, black leather or I'm walking....

Where to mount cb?

Well it looks like the only good spot to mount the cb is in between the front seats in front of the flip down arm rest- coming up from the floor.
What do you all think about that idea? and to all of you with 2nd gen dodge rams, where did you mount your cb's? if u have one.

Thanks brad
