Hey guys... I just bought a case of Primrose Oil 2030 Winter Blend with Ice Check to test it and see if it's everything it is cracked up to be. According to my supplier, Primrose is the only company that DIDN'T have to change their additive formula with the introduction of the ULSD nastiness that many fueling stations are now offering. If my truck behaves better with this additive, I will pay for my Vendor membership here, and offer it to you guys for a very good price. Basically, it is touted as the best stuff available, and when I look at the cost to useage ratio, I can understand why. A single 12oz bottle treats 140 gallons of #2 Diesel, Winterized Diesel, or B1-B20 BioDiesel. A gallon of the stuff treats 1500 gallons of fuel. Here's a quick rundown on the specs...

Winter Blend 2030 is a Premium Select ™ winterized premium diesel
additive (PDA) which imparts high performance qualities to diesel fuel.
WB 2030 provides “Premium Diesel” qualities to standard diesel fuels in
terms of detergency, stability, lubricity and winter operability. Ice
Check™ provides additional winter protection against freezeups.

WB 2030 contains the following additives:
Detergents, Lubricity Agents, Dispersants, Rust Inhibitors,
Stabilizers, Corrosion Inhibitors, Flow Improvers, Anti-Oxidants,
Anti-Gel Additives, Metal Deactivators, Anti-Icing Additives

WB 2030 is an extremely versatile product that can be used in a wide
range of effective treatment ratios from an economical 1:3000 to 1:750
for maximum performance benefits, or for non-responsive or poor
quality diesel fuels.

WB 2030 is recommended in diesel fuel at 1:1500 for optimum overall
performance and for lubricity in kerosene. Treat rates as low as 1:3000
may be used to provide significant enhancement of all properties in other
fuels. Treat rates as high as 1:750 may be used to achieve further
performance enhancements.

If you guys are interested in trying it out, the introductory price will be about $8.00 per 12oz bottle plus shipping. That's less than a quart of PowerService stuff, AND it treats a hell of a lot more fuel. It comes out to around $2.00-4.00 per tank depending on how much you blend. If your truck runs like crap on Winterized fuel, then go with the 1:750 mix, or 6oz per fillup.

I'm not offering it for sale on a bulk basis yet, but if I like the stuff, as soon as I pay my vendor fees, it will be available by the bottle as well as by the 24 pack case. If you want to try it out, send me an e-mail, and I'll send you a bottle as soon as they arrive.

I used that stuff all last year to treat all my customers tanks.

We also use it to treat straight B-100 so we may pump it at a lower temperature than untreated.

For B-11 diesel mixes, I double treat it, and don't worry about adding #1 until the temps drop below 0* F....

I probably sell 5 gals. a day....

I am not sure on that....We usually get in the 450 (?) gal. totes....I will ask the Boss and see....
