Had a fun day yesterday up at and around our place.

I actually had three whole running and 4-wheel capable rigs of the fleet going.

The Suburban:

The Orange Blazer:

And the Truck Blazer (which didnt get pics taken from my camera) but is shown here pulling out a truck:

Crystelle with her Toyota took charge of pulling out all the smaller rigs, and even some fullsize ones:

Kevin (reeser) and his brother KC came up in the '84 Chevy 4x4, all 1-ton with 4.56's, Detroit, 454/465/205, on 38" TSLs:

This just didn't surprise me, having known the owner of it:

It was a fun day. I didn't get anything stuck or break anything. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif We also ran the little hill/obstacle course up on the hill, but I left the camera down below.
We just had to run the pits ahead of time, before the races in a month.

Here are all the pics:

I took (or had friends) take alot of stills, since the video camera quit working on me /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif.

The land has been in my family since 1911. My grandparents bought it then after coming over from Sweden. My dad was born there. April 17th when we were there was actually his birthday. He would have been 86 if he was still around. We have the field and the land goes partway up the hill, where there are some skidder trails. We also have a swamp and the two man-made pits.

His bumper was ready to come off, except we couldn't get the last bolt off. So we figured I'd just yank it off, but it ended up pulling the truck out of the pit, hanging on by one bolt. Since I have so much crap around, we found him another rear bumper today off a frame I had.

clubba68:
I didn't take the motorhome in, cause its not officially mine... yet. I did spin around a little in the field. Some of the people that hadn't known me very long had slightly confused looks on their faces.

muddytazz:
You should come up sometime... still need a Suburban tailgate? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif It's still up there.

/forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif Thats alot of land in my eyes /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif

One of these days I will be up there to visit some non-wheeling friends and would love to see your place. My wifes girlfriends husband was just stationed in WA. And one of my best friends lives in Snohomish. I have no idea where you are , but it looks fun /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

86 and you're 23? He was 63 when you were born?

Yep. He had me really late in my life. My mom was alot younger.

My half brother, from my dad's 1st marriage is 60 and my half sister is like 62.

Our place is in the middle of nowhere:

In the furthermost corner of NE Washington where there are acres of land and mountains to explore, few people, and alot of inbreeding. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif (I'm proud to say my family has no connection to the inbreeding).

Near where I was born in Michigan there is a City called Taylor. Everyone called this "Taylortucky" for the same reasons. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I didn't know Allan ran through the pit 4 or 5 times with his 40's before I took my little 35's through/in. That was a lot of fun. Yep I look like I'm climbing out the window. Cuz I was stuckard. A 6" lift with 35's and the mud was all the way up to the bottom of my tail light. Luckily I could reach the tow hook from the hood so I didn't have to get wet.
