new driveshaft?

I am looking at a jimmy on craigslist that comes with a 4inch lift. My question is, if i were to buy this jimmy, would i have to lengthen the drive shafts. sorry if this was already ask; i looked all over. thanks, John

For 4 inch no you don't have to.

yep, like he said, 4" you dont have to. and with 6" you can still run a stock shaft, but u go through u joints like its your job because of the angles

It depends. My front driveshaft was frozen at the slip yoke and I had to get a new one for it. The new one fits fine though. It is a 4 inch lift.

It can also depend on your trans/ tcase combo. a 4 speed with a 205 is much shorter than a 700 with a 208.
