i am just finishing up my exhaust on my k5. its a tbi 350 with headers, 3" flowmaster tubing, 3" 40 series mufflers, true duals with no cats, and 3.5" tips. this is the first exhaust ive done, i think it turned out pretty good :D. dont mind my cruddy tired old engine, hopefully it wont be in there much longer. tell me what you think...

Sounds great , just like mine sounds.Only diffrence is the PO put cherry bombs on mine.

Sounds good. I guess your like me and exempt from smogging it.:D Can you do me a favor and snap a couple pics of it comming off the headers. I'm looking for ideas on how I'm going to do mine.

I love my Flowmaster when I'm cruising with the windows down on the highway.. it's very loud(3" pipes, no cat, 3" Flowmaster 40), but very sweet sounding.

Cruising with the windows up sucks.. the drone gets old after a while.

yeah, ill get a few pics later tonight. im telling you right now, if you have a 465/205 combo and are trying to use long tube headers, its giong to be a pita. i actually had to cut my header collectors and take about a 2" section out of them so i could clear the t-case. i think it woulda worked with a 700r/208 combo or any auto for that matter, since the t-case and crossmember is more towards the rear, so there is alittle more space. oh, and if i didnt have a body lift, theres no way i woulda squeezed 3" tubing in there :D :doah:. thanks for the comments

yeah, try running a 3" pipe back the passenger side without a body lift once... i bet you cant :wink1:. theres just no enough room. i have a 3" BL and i just barely had the room to squeeze it through. the only way you could do it is either under the x-member or on the outside of the frame rails, which would look like trash in my opinion...

I am running the same exhaust as you and I run mine above the crossmember on the both sides. Yes, there is little clearence, but mine looks great and I even have an "H" pipe.

I live in Komiefornia so I can not run duals. Plus it is more **** to bend up on the rocks around here:D
