Personally, I think it's a nice, neat looking vehicle but I have my doubts that'll be the off road machine people are saying.

its ok. I'm just too loyal to Chevy. I've never owned anything but a Chevy. Can't get excited about a Yota.
Some of our friends just got one. I don't know it looks a little too much like a blown up hotwheel to me in real life because of the shape/colors/plastic. It's supposed to be pretty capable in stock form but we'll see how that goes. I'll take em' out for a little fun some day, me in my k10 and them in the FJ.

compare it to the old fjs and it looks like plastic junk. i saw a beautiful old fj40, today, on the way to work. it's no blazer, but it's nice
I just got an Email back from the local toy dealer he said that for the one i want with no interior extras, 5 speed manual, biggest engine I could get ( who knows) and plainblack rims would be about 25 grand, OH... lest we forget the 4 to 6 month waiting list. WTF?
my wife is in love with the FJ cruiser. Its probably as capable as any stock 4x4 with IFS. Personally, I wish they had brought it back with a solid front... but its all good. Cool rig... and compared to most "cool" new SUVs, its pretty affordable. Not as cheap as a sammy or something, but compared to a Yukon Denali, Hummer, Volvo/Beemer/Mercedes/porsche SUV they are a bargain.
