In the included instructions it shows how to remove any air from the jack before first use which I did, so hopefully I have good luck with it.Mine must have air in it….only lifts to about 6” if theres a load on it.
@CK5 …. I have a horrible thought of that jack releasing and going down the door…![]()
How low is your Camaro?I have the same jack - got it about a year and a half ago. Been a good jack so far. Will say even though it's low and long.. It still doesn't fit under my Camaro.. lol

I have the same one in chevy orange.Harbor Freight has a 20% off any one single item today so finally pulled the trigger on a 3 ton low/high profile floor jack. It easily fits under the Z on the low end and extends almost 25" on the high end for the K5.

I bought 2 of their aluminum floor jacks. One fits in a toolbox on ReTonkulous, with the handle split. And 2, not HF, jack stands. Still enough room for 3 tool rolls in the box. It was used by 3 people on HRPT this year.
I will only lift one corner, then set it on a jack stand. Same thing on Power Tour. I watched as they set the cars on jack stands.I had an aluminum one of theirs and managed to tweak the frame. Got rid of that one. Only used it on my cars, never on my trucks. I don't trust them at all.
That's ALWAYS the smart thing to do with all jacks!I will only lift one corner, then set it on a jack stand. Same thing on Power Tour. I watched as they set the cars on jack stands.
What year Camaro? Mine fits under my 2016 just fine. I also have the lift blocks for lifting from the rocker pinch weld.Low.. It's strange. It's about 3/4" lower than stock. But there aren't many good jack points on that thing and the only place in the front I can get to is the crossmember. The hinge area of the jack wont fit under the nose, which is really long. So I have to drive up on some wood planks to gain a little.
98. There's places in the back. But not a lot of good places in the front. Some cars have little waffle pads that are supposed to help behind the tires but they're more likely to bend/break the front fenders. What year Camaro? Mine fits under my 2016 just fine. They shouldn't be under the fenders, usually they are located under the A pillars?98. There's places in the back. But not a lot of good places in the front. Some cars have little waffle pads that are supposed to help behind the tires but they're more likely to bend/break the front fenders.
