Made with 11g hot rolled plate with 11g square tubing behind it to reinforce some aspects. Works as a jack point for my farm jack with enough room behind it for a winch and the tow points are also the brackets that mount the bumper to the frame for extra pull strength. Some design aspects were limited as I only had a grinder and a little kid welder, and couldn' make any crazy bends or snazzy things of the like. There's still some work to be done on the "guts" of it but for now it works exactly for what I needed it to.

You plan on hitting a wall and continue on? Lol that thing looks big and beefy. I like it, it has a "dont mess with me" kinda look.

It looks retro to me, and pretty good!
But please try to get better mounts for the clevises.

Overall it looks like a very stout bumper, something one would use when hunting a Prius.:D One small point that could be fixed without too much difficulty would be the tow/clevis mounts. They need a little more beef, IE something along these lines:

That's exactly the idea haha. I for sure plan on beefing up the tow points. Unfortunately the metal yard I got the steel from wouldn't sell me such a small amount of the thick stuff. So I plan on gueseting the sides real good and using tubing to work as a spacer of sorts. For now I sprayed it with some rattle can Bed liner to prevent any rust from the upcoming rain while I get a 20amp outlet set up so I don' have to drive to my work just to weld.

Or extra points when running over nuns. :burnout:

And I agree. You need to triple up the thickness of those clevis mounts.

For like $25 on eBay you can get some pre-made clevis mounts that are 1" thick. For the material cost and effort of fabricating them it's kind of a no-brainer. You cut a hole in the front plate and pass them through. Then you can weld them to the mounting brackets along 3 edges, as well as both the front and back of the bumper face.
