New Front drive shaft build

Here is the front Shaft that i am making for my truck i am using a 1350 D/C joint and a 1410 joint at the axle, this has a 12 inch slip shaft this should be enough for my 52 inch springs

Front shaft all pressed up and waiting to be welded

Shaft in the welder getting ready to weld it

First weld on the shaft done, becasue it is so short only one weld head could be used at a time

All welded up and ready to be balanced

Where you get all that fancy equipment or is someone makin that for you? How much $$. I need to order up the same spec shaft in a week or so.

I am building this at work. We make all GM's prototype Driveshafts in the lab where i work

no i am leaving this job tommarow to go back to school for the fall. It took me a year to get theses done for myself
