Where can I buy an OEM Front fenders for a 1989 GMC Jimmy? Some idiot ran in to me and I need to see if fixing or replacing is a better option.

I want new OEM steel, not the CHeap **** LMC Trucks sells. Hopefully there is some out there some where still.

one of the after market companies, maybe classic industries or something like that, had NOS fenders a couple yrs ago.. doors too....

iirc, the fenders where $500.... but they may be down to aftermarket stuff at this point... if i feel ambitious later i'll take a peak around for em.. got a few pm's to write too...

and I don't care what anyone says about so and so has better aftermarket sheetmetal than so and so, I've never noticed a difference from one Taiwan stamping to another....

could get an excellent condition OEM used one from a rust free state. no rust, perfect fit, just paint....

Yeah, Goodmark is completely out of stock. They are pretty much out of stock of everything for an 1989 Jimmy.

There are no good pull part yards around here. So it would have to be shipped and then at that rate it is as much as buying one online.

Just want a beautifully fitting good all American galvanized steel sheet metal.

If doors on a 1974 in a scrap yard look "too good to be true" how would I know if they were real or Taiwan or maybe were replaced only 20 years ago?

Also, would you take a parts yard 1974 fender over a new Goodmark?

What's the real difference? Thickness?:dunno:
