New GMC Sub owner and new to board

Hi all,

I just brought a 1999 GMC Suburban LT home with me today. Traded in my 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS/4WD - needed something bigger.

I belonged to a forum for the MS and found if very helpful for the 4 years I owned it, so am hoping for the same here on this one.

I promise to search before I ask any questions!

I just have to practice backing it up, parallel parking and taking turns w/o taking something out!

Howdy and welcome. This is the best site that I have ever been on, and I know that you will enjoy it. I see that you live in Maine! Actually, you are about 6 miles from my Brother's house (in Dayton). I will be up there at the end of April, and we should get together and go wheelin'!!

Anyway, what Suburban did you get? 1500,2500? 4WD?
I had a '99 Chevy Sub 4wd 1500, and I LOVED it. It didn't get the best mileage, but it sure could hold a ton of gear.

well you have done three things right.
first you got rid of the Mitsubi-sh*t
seconed you bought a burb ( best choice)
third you came to ck5.
