Not sure how many lawn mower snobs we have around here but I have no problem getting it started.
Bought this Grasshopper 329 maybe 2 months ago. It's running the Kubota liquid-cooled gas engine and runs like a sewing machine. For all the diesel guys out there, the only real advantage of the diesel is fuel efficiency. The gas makes more power and was a little less money. Longevity does not seem to be an issue with either the diesel or gas as both have been documented to go 10k hrs. I doubt I'll ever put 2k on it in my life so my kids can worry about it after that.
Anyways, this was one of those buy once cry once purchases. Overkill in every way for me as I only have an acre. I do my in laws place, am older buddy's place and occasionally help my dad with his 5 acre place but it was still the most unnecessary purchase I've made in a long time lol.
Just a few things about this particular one. I ordered it with a 52" deck to fit in tighter spots around my yard, the Power Vac system (works very well), LED lights that are brighter than any vehicle headlights I own, foldable ROPs and that's about it.
Here's a quick pic I took yesterday before getting started. I was finishing up some clean up so I had the Power Vac on but took it off yesterday afternoon and stored it til I'll be needing it again. Running side discharge for a while. Might put the mulching kit on later.
