new guy to forum... got some questions about lifting my Blazer

hey all... I drive a '71 Blazer powered by a 500+ HP 454. Got a built 700R4 comin once payday comes around. It's currently sitting on 33x12.50x15 tires but I want to take it up to 37. How much lift do I need to clear the tires? Any reccomendations for lifts? Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in, i tried the 1st gen specific one but I can't post there. Any help would be appreciated. If you have any questions, ask away. I'll answer em as soon as I can. Thanks.

The amount of lift needed is dependant on how much fender trimming you want to do. I have 8" of lift with 35's and i can bury the front tires into the rear of the fenders just to give you an idea. My fenders are not trimmed though.

Also, if you seriously have 500+ HP your 700R4 probably won't be lasting too long unless it is built to the hilt.
