I don't have a title for my jimmy, how can I tell what year it is? What years of bucket seats will inter change?

Need specs on the vehicle. Year specifically. '86 was transition year for the front seats, I believe '73-85 front seats will interchange, the floor is different for the '86 trucks that have the fold/slide seats. It was not 100% that year though.
I don't have the chart in front of me but the 8th digit from the end is the year. depending on when it was made it may be a letter. this is true for any vin that is 17 digits long.

The front of an LMC catalog will tell you. You might even be able to check www.lmctruck.com
I think thats it. otherwise post it and we will tell you. if it still has it there is a sticker on the driver's door that says what manufacture date was or if you have hood decals it will say what year specs it meets.
