I have an 84 k5. some how with my limited skills I have managed to stuff a dana 60 in it along with a 14 bolt. I want to take the project further but I dont have the needed skills to build my own. So when I get a chance I look for killer deals, which brings me to my question. Has anyone bought a chevy winch bumper off ebay? I see them up there every now and then. Was thinking of getting one. Most of them look pretty cool. I was just wondering cuz ebay seems safer than a remote web site that I havent heard of. Well as long as the seller has good feedback. They look good and like they are pretty strong. The price is not that bad for all the work and steel. I dunno I guess I just want one. What ya'll think?

Check out some of the vendors in the vendors forum. DIY4x, Blazen Offroad, and ORD make some very nice bumpers.

Didnt know about the vendors here. I will check them out asap. thanks for the lead.

I gotta say that is some seriously sh!tty welding on a product made in a "fab shop". If any of my guys were that bad at welding i'd get rid of them...

The tow points don't even go through to the other side to where the bracketry is. They shouldn't be welded just to the face of the bumper should they????

yeah, having beefy tow points is not such a big selling point if they're only attached to 3/16" plate and the welding isn't that good.

I think that is the fab shop/ company/ website that alot of noobs on here have been pushing. I think they are trying to get some business without paying a vendor membership.
